DECEMBER

December 3 to 6 – Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest & Opening Weekend

Deer Valley Resort will again open with the Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest. The lighthearted slalom races between film and television stars and former Olympians are open to the public and available to watch from Silver Lake Village.

Where to stay: Silver Lake. This mid-mountain oasis is the perfect place to stay for a front row seat to both the slopes and the celebrity action, with nearly every property offering ski-in/ski-out or walking access to the slopes.

December 3 – Tinsley Ellis at the Egyptian Theatre

Southern blues meets electrifying rock at the Egyptian Theatre to celebrate Deer Valley Resort’s opening weekend. Ask your concierge for pre-show dinner recommendations. Read more.

December 7-12 – World Cup Luge 

See the world’s best athletes, including past and future Olympians, compete in World Cup competition at this free family-friendly event. Read more

January 19-29 – Sundance Film Festival

February 1-4 – FIS Freestyle World Cup

Watch the world’s best freestyle skiers flip and twist down Deer Valley’s World Cup course in one of the biggest events of the year. Arrive in time for the outdoor concert on Main Street, and stay for live music and fireworks. All competitions take place in the evening at the Deer Valley Resort base. Read more.

April 1 – Serial Creators Sarah Koenig & Julia Snyder
